We're very proud that The State Historical Marker Program presented the museum with the very first Historical Marker to sit in front of the state capital from 1956 to 1980. The marker was replaced with the current marker and left in the state's archives until now. Our museum will also serve as information center for those interested in the Marker Program, with contact and application information.
