Then Dell takes us on a charter walleye fishing trip out of AUGRES, Michigan. Here aboard Captain Mark Nossal’s “Absolute-Lee Fun Charter Boat” Dell and family discover the fishing bounty in Lake Huron’s Saginaw Bay! NOVEMBER 10TH : SHOW #1546: Dell travels to historic Alberta Michigan to visit with Bird eye Maple wood artist Dave Stimac. Here at Dave’s workshop in the historic U.P. village that Ford built, Dell discovers the beauty in working with this rare wood and Dave’s talent in creating one of a kind tables, rockers and more!
Then Barry visits with PRESCOTT inventor Jack Jacques! Jack has developed and patented the first reverse taper golf club grip. From his northern Michigan home Jack and his crew are starting to market to the world this grip that fits naturally in the golfers hands and has been correcting the slice of hundreds of satisfied golfers.
NOVEMBER 17TH : SHOW #1547: Barry shares one of his favorite recipes from Michigan Magazine’s newest Holiday Cookbook. At the Michigan Magazine Museum Kitchen Barry whips up a delicious sweet potato recipe for the upcoming holiday season. Then Dell takes us to MEARS Michigan to visit The Pierogi Place. Here Steve and Marilyn Marciniak create the perfect piergois just like his grandmother used to make for her family and borders! The hand made pierogis are pre-cooked, individually frozen, packaged and made available at stores throughout Western Michigan from Grand Rapids to Traverse city as well as being shipped throughout the country. NOVEMBER 14TH : SHOW #1548: Dell shares a couple of his favorite recipes from Michigan Magazine’s latest Holiday Cookbook. Dell creates a wonderful Christmas Cake and cookies to share with family and friends this holiday season! The Barry returns to ALBERTA, Michigan to discover the continuing work of Michigan Tech University on the grounds of this historic village. The school continues research and development of programs that carry on Henry Ford’s vision of conservation and reforestation.

DECEMBER 1ST : SHOW #1549: Michigan Magazine travels to CHASE, Michigan to visit with author Barbara Yoder. Barbara and Her husband left the strict Amish lifestyle when they were first married. Since then Barbara has authored a regional best seller called “Finding the Way” a fictional account of what it was like being raised in a loving Amish Community. Then Barry heads into the Michigan Magazine Museum Kitchen with another Michigan Author, Vera Soucie, who prepares a vintage Vinegar Pie from her book on northern Michigan logging camps. DECEMBER 8TH : SHOW #1550: Join Dell as he visits with Michigan Authors/Photographers Carl Sams and Jean Stoick at their MILDFORD, Michigan home to discuss their best selling children’s book “Stranger in The Woods”. Then we head to HAWKS, Michigan to visit with Nettie Bay Lodge Owner, Mark Schuller, to discuss the unique “Outdoor Woman” Program held each year at this northern Michigan retreat. DECEMBER 15TH : SHOW #1551: Michigan Magazine visit’s the not for profit “Family Bookshelf” and gift store in downtown FAIRVIEW. The store boasts hand made gifts from around the world. The products are sold at the store to help support the artists and economy of third world countries. Then Barry heads to Mackinaw Island for a one of a kind annual Blacksmith convention. DECEMBER 22ND : SHOW #1552: On this edition we head into the kitchen with Debbie Ladd and Dianne Vaughan for holiday Cookie baking and recipe sharing! Then Dell visits with representatives of the Headwaters Land Conservancy to learn more about placing private property in permanently protected land trusts. DECEMBER 29TH : SHOW #1601: We tour historic GRAND LEDGE. Then Barry goes Hawaiian as he visits Waves Restaurant along the historic Nautical Mile in ST. CLAIR SHORES!
